My interest in meteorology was sparked by the extreme rainfall and flood event in my hometown (Zhengzhou, Henan Province, July 2021). Witnessing the power of the storm and the profound impact it had on the community inspired me to dedicate myself to advancing weather forecasting and early warning research.
